Meg combines her creativity and organizational skills with her love for special events.  Her hard working attitude and determination has helped her grow in her event planning career with Kate & Company.  She is known to extensively research and find perfect locations and vendors that will cater to the client’s vision.

Her love for numbers and great deals helps keep her clients on or under budget.  But she does think that there is always a time to splurge on that one special item!  Meg also has a craving for personalized and heart felt touches to make an event that much more memorable. She has the ability to see the whole event come together no matter what little ideas you have to start off with.

Meg spends her weekends working on diy projects inspired by Pinterest. If you can think it, she can create it!  Her favorite past times are crafting, traveling, shopping, spending time with her husband and 2 dogs, and enjoying the company of her friends and family.

Photo booths are the perfect way to make any wedding unforgettable and entertain guest! This new trend of wedding photography is a unique experience allowing wedding attendants to participate in creative, fun group photos. Adding fun props such as posters, glasses, tiaras, mustaches, hats, masks and wigs create humor and excitement for guests. Photo booths do not just have to be used for entertainment for the guests, they can also be used before the wedding by the bride and groom sending out their Save-the Date. The photos from your wedding’s photo booths can also be made into a guest book for the bride and groom to treasure forever. A recent Kate and Company wedding incorporated a photo booth at their wedding…here are some photos from Megan and Jake Schmidt’s wedding!

The Knot Cocktails & Connection

by

Location: Bentley Projects – Phoenix, Arizona

Inspiration: Green, Glam, Vintage, Industrial, Chic

Details: We loved creating the “Green Glam” theme to showcase how an event can be modern with a touch of urban rust! Bentley Project’s historical building was the perfect backdrop for The Knot’s eco-chic Cocktails and Connections party! Simple and stunning vignettes pairing succulents, fruits and flowers with eclectic up cycled bricks, containers and glass set the tone for an evening designed to create a sophisticated and natural space. The grand center wood table resting atop oak wine barrels with terrariums and tea lights was a unique earthy gathering place to nosh and network.

Memorable Moments: Hearing the “scentsational” ohs and ahs as guests received a welcoming spritz at our aroma mist bar then handed a sparkling Joy Juice Elixir cocktail. Lingering visits at the sumptuous organic chocolate and champagne bar. Foods made by local/sustainable purveyors with mouthwatering favorites like the poblano fries and chimayo braised pork sliders with lavender and spearmint yogurt. Laughs and fun poses at the photo lounge while sitting on our lush vintage couches holding “Go Green or Go Home” signs.
